Oliver Builders finished this nearly one-year job ahead of schedule and under budget, with top-quality work all around and amazing attention to detail. The job supervisor and crew were on site every day, all day. All the company principals -- owner, production manager, job supervisor -- were extremely responsive; I often had phone calls returned within five minutes and never later than the same day. Every worker, from supervisor to carpenter, had absorbed the company ethic, which I would characterize as "Do it right, and if it's not right, make it right." Undertaking a remodel is fraught with opportunities for tension, misunderstandings, and conflict between owner and contractor, given all the "unexpected" issues that inevitably come up.
